Philosophy

Coherence is the objective.

Too many apps is the shallow diagnosis. The real cost is decisions that never reach the work they changed. Cursus exists so that work lives in one place.

The real problem

Too many apps is the shallow diagnosis.

The real loss is context. The task survives; the reason for it doesn't. Six months later, nobody can say why the project went the way it did. Then every tool added its own AI, and now you explain the same project four times a day.

Organization asks where something goes. Coherence asks why it exists and what it should change. We built for the second question.

Why no connectors

Wiring five apps together leaves you with five apps.

We could have plugged an AI into Slack, Notion and Linear. It would still be reading thin copies of scattered work. So we built the place the work lives instead, and put the AI inside it.

A brain with walls

A shared brain has to know when to stay quiet.

A company AI that tells anyone anything is a liability. Northstar knows what the company knows, and tells each person only what they're allowed to hear.

Direction

The system carries the context. People decide.

Northstar suggests. You approve. Cursus is not your Northstar. You are.

Axioms

Three rules we don't drop.

01

Context Is Not Optional.

A task without its reason is noise. The plan stays attached to the work it became.

Plan stays attached
02

Built From the Inside.

We run Cursus on Cursus. If it fails us, it doesn’t ship.

We run Cursus on Cursus
03

Whole or Not At All.

We don’t advertise what isn’t built.

Shipped software only

In short.

Too many apps is the shallow diagnosis. The real loss is context: decisions that never reach the work they changed. Cursus exists so those decisions stay attached to the work they became, in one workspace with a company brain. Context Is Not Optional. A task without its reason is noise. The plan stays attached to the work it became. Built From the Inside. We run Cursus on Cursus. If it fails us, it does not ship. Whole or Not At All. We do not advertise what is not built. There is no half-live version. Wiring five apps together still leaves you with five apps. Cursus is the place the work lives. Organization asks where something goes. Coherence asks why it exists and what it should change. Northstar suggests. You approve. Open Cursus at app.cursus.in.
